Welcome to our new website!

The key word there is "new." Yes, we had an old website. One that I had kept up for several years. Maybe as many as 15? It was only recently that I discovered I'm the only one who could actually get to it. At least the only one without a degree in computer science who knows all the ins and outs of the internet. Links didn't work. Even typing in the url wouldn't do it. So much for Google sites.

So now we have a "real" website. Huge thanks to Bill for being the one to set it all up and it's still very much a work in progress as he learns his way around. AI does a lot (accounting for so much flowery language in our descriptions etc.) but changing things to our own wording is...a challenge. I'd be throwing things and saying some very unladylike words so it's best left to someone other than me. But hopefully sooner rather than later it'll be the way we want it and hopefully give you an idea of who we are and what we sound like. And of course our schedule.

Since (so far) the "events" page is only allowing for three events to be posted, I'll try to keep an updated schedule going here in the blog pages.

For starters...we'll be playing on Saturday, August 9th at the new restaurant at Blue Heron Hills, the Tavern at Windward Lake. The dining room in the clubhouse has been completely redone and is all upstairs now. It's much more spacious with great views overlooking the lake. (Is that really a lake or is it a pond?) We'll be playing from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Saturday is the Tavern's Date Night with $32 prime rib dinner and 1/2 off bottles of wine. They're also going to have "glow golf" starting at 8:00 that night. Reservations are recommended (315) 985-5888 and the address is 1 Country Club Drive, Macedon, NY 14502.

Then the following Saturday, August 16th we'll be at the Little Theatre Cafe playing from 7:00 – 9:00pm. It's always a great time there! The Little Theatre Cafe is just around the corner from the main Little Theatre entrance (which is on East Avenue, Rochester) at 8 Winthrop Street.

Join us and several other groups for Play Music on the Porch Day, Saturday, August 30th from 1:00 – 3:00pm. We'll be playing on the porch of the Bickford House, 56 West Main Street, Macedon, NY. Play Music on the Porch Day is a worldwide event where folks all over the world are taking a breather from all the other craziness to just play or enjoy some music and share it with your neighbors. Bring a lawn chair and come sing along or just relax and let the music fill your soul.

And later on in the year we'll be playing a couple of Friday nights at Ramsey's at Champion Hills. We played there St. Patrick's Day week and are looking forward to going back. Music is from 5:30-8:30pm and we'll be there September 19th and October 10th. They're located at 675 Championship Drive Victor, NY 14564.

Also in October we'll be one of several groups playing at Johnny's Irish Pub as part of a fundraiser for the Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade. Not sure of the time yet so there will be updates to follow as things get sorted.
